About Into the blue
HISTORY
Into the Blue BV exist since 1999 as a Maritime Marketing Company and was born out of QuintaMare NV. Founder Kris Vandewalle (aka Kristou) created with his organization some ‘iconic events’ in the low countries. Re-organizing the famous Antwerp Race into a city-marketing event and the setup of Oostende voor Anker as a popular yearly recurring event. Today we set course enabling new skippers and boat owners to enjoy the sailing sport for a lifetime.
Our small organization of independent passionate sailors achieves his mission through a wide range of programs and events:
SAILING INSTRUCTION , SKIPPER SERVICES & YACHT DELIVERY
For first-time sailors, Into the Blue ensures that they will learn from experienced and certified instructors who follow national guidelines and are trained by the RYA. For this Into the Blue has a partnership with VAARSCHOOL.BE, Belgiums biggest RYA Training Center. For personal sailing programs and private tuition, Into the Blue hosts a network of Commercial Certified RYA Yachtmasters that bring together expertise, addressing the latest developments in many areas of the sport.

TECHNICAL YACHT EXPERTISE
You want to buy or to sell a boat? Annually we do extensive Yacht Expertise & Ship Inspection (up to 60 ft). A professional report will indicate strengths and weaknesses, and inform you on ‘must do’, ‘nice to do’ and ‘nice to have’, not avoiding the pitfalls related to refitting or buying a yacht.
THE THRILL OF SAILRACING
For young ( and not-so-young) sailors who are just starting out in the sport and want to learn about sailboat racing, they can contact us for our racing calendar. We participate in sailracing through our partnership with Activoile in Brittany, Baie de Quiberon, where many famous regattas are organized by the sailing clubs every year. We always try to form mixed teams to build up sail racing experience.
